Job summary

The UNSW Centre for Social Impact at UNSW Business School invites applications for a Research Fellow (Level B) to advance independent and collaborative research across investment, innovation, and strategy for social impact. Based at the Kensington Campus, the role engages with Chief Investigators on an ARC Discovery Project exploring regional economies through place-based investment.

You will publish in academic journals and contribute to competitive funding proposals, supervise research

Qualifications

PhD in a business-related discipline with expertise in qualitative and mixed methodologies.
Proven commitment to keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments, especially impact investing and regional economic development.

Responsibilities

Conduct research with limited supervision, independently or in teams.
Publish high-quality academic work and practitioner outputs.
Contribute to Centre strategy through grant applications and competitive funding.
Participate as co-investigator or chief investigator in competitive grants.
Disseminate research outcomes through appropriate channels.
Undertake field work and data gathering using appropriate methods.
Present at conferences/workshops as required.
Supervise research students and assistants when required.
Provide project management leadership to meet deliverables.
