Job summary

Flinders University is inviting applications for a Higher Education Officer Level 5 to join the National Centre for Education and Training on Addiction (NCETA) Research Team at Bedford Park. The role supports diverse research activities, governance, and reporting while collaborating with government stakeholders and the Centre Director.

You will contribute to data collection, analysis, ethics and grant processes, and dissemination across multiple projects, helping improve health outcomes locally

Qualifications

• Completion of degree in a relevant area (e.g. psychology, public health, or science) or equivalent experience/education.
• Well-developed writing and communication skills (scientific manuscripts, industry reports, grant writing, dissemination).
• Well-developed qualitative and quantitative research skills.
• Well-developed computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS, R and Endnote.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in capturing and sharing project outcomes and organisational KPIs.
• Assisting with research ethics applications, grant applications and literature reviews.
• Maintaining spreadsheets, databases, EndNote libraries and accurate records of research procedures.
• Assisting with qualitative and quantitative data management, including data cleaning, coding, analysis and summaries of findings.
