Job summary

Metro North Health’s Brisbane Colorectal Research Unit is seeking a Research Assistant to support a wide portfolio of clinical trials in colorectal surgery and related fields. You will coordinate ethics applications, governance submissions, and manage large clinical datasets with high accuracy.

Job description

About the roleThe Research Assistant will join the Brisbane Colorectal Research Unit, one of Australia's largest and most influential minimally invasive colorectal surgery research programs, based at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. Working closely with colorectal surgeons, research coordinators and clinical researchers, the role supports a broad portfolio of clinical trials and research projects focused on colorectal surgery, inflammatory bowel disease and related fields.The successful candidate will contribute to the coordination of research studies from concept through to ethics and governance approvals, manage clinical research data, liaise with researchers and regulatory bodies, and support the delivery of high-quality clinical trials.
