Job summary

Whitsunday Air Services on Hamilton Island seeks a motivated R44 Helicopter Line Pilot. The full-time role requires residency on Hamilton Island and reports to the Deputy HOFO to support daily operations.

You will perform safe, compliant line flights per SOPs, flight manuals, AIP/ERSA and CASA regs, with preference for hospitality or tourism/customer service background; a strong safety record and credentials are essential.

Qualifications

• 350 hours PIC helicopter
• 10 hours PIC R44
• Current DG certification
• Current ASIC
• Current DAMP test
• Pre-Employment Compass Pilot Aptitude Test with a satisfactory score
• Nil incidents/accidents in the last 5 years
• Over water and float experience
• Hospitality/tourism or customer service background preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, professional line pilot operations in compliance with manuals, SOPs, AIP/ERSA and CASA rules.
• Support day-to-day operations and participate in flight operations as required.

About the role:

We are now seeking a motivated individual for the role of an R44 Helicopter Line Pilot. The position will be full time and require the candidate to reside on Hamilton Island. Reporting to the Deputy HOFO, the role will support the day to day operations of the business.

Your primary responsibilities will be to provide safe, professional and compliant line pilot operations as per the company operations manual, company SOPs, Aircraft flight manual, AIP, ERSA and the CASA Rules & Regulations.

About you:

The minimum requirements of the role are as follows:

• 350 hours PIC helicopter
• 10 hours PIC R44
• Current DG
• Current ASIC
• Current DAMP test.
• A satisfactory target score in a Pre-Employment Compass Pilot Aptitude Test
• Nil incidents/accidents in the last 5 years
• Over water and float experience.
• Preference will be given to applicants who have a Hospitality/tourism and or customer service background.
