Job summary

Green Grid Connect (GGC) is seeking a Bid Manager to lead major EPC, BOP and HV infrastructure tenders across Australia. You will shape winning strategies and coordinate interfaces with engineering, procurement, construction, legal and commercial teams.

You’ll collaborate with clients and suppliers, translate requirements into compelling submissions, assess risks and opportunities, and drive commercial outcomes through to award and financial close.

Qualifications

• Experience managing bids, tenders, proposals or business development pursuits in renewable energy or infrastructure.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to identify opportunities, risks and winning strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality bid submissions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (Dynamics 365 or Salesforce).

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end bid process for major EPC, BOP and high-voltage infrastructure opportunities.
• Develop winning strategies aligning client needs with technical capabilities and commercial strengths.
• Review tender documentation and translate requirements into delivery and pricing plans.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, legal and commercial teams to develop submissions.
• Engage with clients, suppliers and subcontractors to gather market intelligence and secure pricing.
• Assess project risks, opportunities, methodologies, schedules and delivery approaches.
• Negotiate commercial and contractual terms through to award and close.
• Build relationships across the business and leverage the broader group for proposals.
