Job summary

Ark Energy Corporation is seeking a Project Officer to support the development and delivery of solar, wind, battery storage, and other renewable energy initiatives in Australia. The role is based in Sydney with travel to project sites as required, and operates on a 12-month maximum term to ensure successful delivery of initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. environmental science, planning, engineering or similar).
• Experience supporting infrastructure, construction or renewable energy projects (desirable).
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination and delivery of projects from early-stage development through to completion.
• Coordinate project schedules, documentation, reporting and communications to support effective delivery.
• Support stakeholder and community engagement activities, including land access and consultation processes.
• Assist in managing regulatory, environmental and planning approvals, ensuring ongoing compliance.
• Support budget tracking, procurement processes and contract administration.
• Prepare reports on project performance, risks and progress, supporting governance and decision-making.
• Maintain accurate project records, data and documentation.
• Coordinate contractors and support site activities to ensure operational readiness at project handover.
