Gentari is seeking a Financial Accountant to join our Australian finance team on a 9-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will contribute to a fast-growing renewable energy business with exposure to accounting, reporting, compliance and process improvements.

You will manage end-to-end AP/AR, month-end close, tax obligations, asset registers and project reporting, with potential for Power BI development and SAP initiatives.

Competenze

• Qualified CPA or CA or actively pursuing qualification.
• Approximately 5+ years' accounting/finance experience.
• Experience with IFRS, GAAP, GST, WHT and corporate tax.
• Experience with SAP FICO and Xero is beneficial.
• Strong Excel and reporting capabilities; financial modelling is a plus.

Mansioni

• Manage end-to-end AP and AR processes, including reconciliations, invoicing, collections and payment cycles.
• Complete month-end and year-end close activities, journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support financial reporting, audits, BAS preparation, GST compliance and tax obligations, including Project Development Assets.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and assist with project spend reporting.
• Project reporting with potential to develop PowerBi reports.
• Support SAP implementation, optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to improve financial controls, reporting and operational efficiency.
