Job summary

NSW Health's Nepean Hospital is seeking a motivated Clinical Support Officer to provide timely administrative support in the Renal Services ward. This permanent part-time role is 24 hours per week across three days, offering good work-life balance.

You will support Nurses, Medical Officers and Allied Health staff with word processing, spreadsheets and databases, ensuring accurate, efficient workflows and a patient-centred approach.

Qualifications

• Hold or is willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent.
• Ability to work under broad supervision and undertake a diverse range of tasks as part of a high-pressure team.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
• Excellent communication skills including clear spelling and comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate administrative and transactional support to Nurses, Medical Officers and Allied Health staff.
• Collaborate with ward clerks, communication officers and the wider healthcare team to support smooth ward operations.
• Assist in maintaining established systems and processes for Renal Services.
• Work under the direction of the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager with broad supervision.
