Job summary

Lawson Elliott Recruitment is seeking an Intermediate to Senior Accountant for outsourced finance work, primarily remote with one in-office day monthly in Sydney CBD. You will manage VCFO services for a select client portfolio and collaborate with onshore/offshore juniors.

Strong client interaction and technology use are required. The ideal candidate has a tertiary accounting qualification, CA/CPA status, and at least 3 years in business services or management accounting, with Xero/XPM

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary accounting qualification is required.
• CA/CPA qualification - enrolled, working towards, or completed.
• Minimum of 3 years in business services or management accounting.

Responsibilities

• Outsourced CFO duties: Budgeting and forecasting, month-end accounting, monthly/quarterly/annual reporting.
• Assist tax team with year-end financials, tax returns, and payroll tax tasks.
• Develop systems to improve client reporting and efficiency.
