Qualifications

• Structured training with supervision to develop ICD-10-AM coding skills.
• Recognised Diploma in Clinical Coding or close to completion.
• Ability to interpret medical information and code accurately.

Responsibilities

• Develop coding accuracy and knowledge through mentored training.
• Translate clinical information into ICD-10-AM codes for data quality.
• Assist auditors to meet Coding Standards and audits outcomes.
• Progress to more complex patient episodes over time.
