Fastly is seeking a Threat Detection Analyst to join our dedicated Customer Security Operations Centre. You will be a frontline defender for Fastly's global enterprise customers, leveraging our edge cloud platform to monitor traffic, detect anomalies, and deploy real-time mitigations against DDoS, bot, and web application attacks.

This is a high-impact role where you act as a strategic partner for our MSS clients, providing expert visibility and rapid response to address internet-scale threats.

Qualifications

• Experience in web security and incident response for enterprise environments.
• Ability to analyze JSON/CSV logs to reconstruct attack narratives.
• Strong written and spoken communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Active Incident Response: identify and mitigate high-impact security events in real time.
• Managed Security Delivery: tune security policies for MSS clients to improve detection.
• Advanced Threat Hunting: perform data-driven investigations from logs.
• Security Intelligence & Reporting: author AARs and monthly security summaries.
• Strategic Communication: provide SME guidance during active incidents.
