Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Subcontracts Specialist to join Boeing Defence Australia’s Sustainment Operations. The role supports sourcing and supplier management across new and existing subcontracts, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure engagement and compliant contract execution.

Based at major sites such as Brisbane, Williamtown, Adelaide or Amberley, you will negotiate variations, manage invoicing, and contribute to risk mitigation and governance across defence programs.

Qualifications

• Three to five years' work experience in contracts management or procurement.
• Bachelor's degree in law, business or commerce (desirable).
• Effective written and verbal communications skills.
• Good working knowledge of contracting and procurement and cross-functional interdependencies.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage with internal stakeholders.
• Maintain currency of existing subcontracts including negotiating and implementing complex subcontract variations.
• Manage existing subcontracts and promote subcontractor collaboration to ensure on time performance and compliance.
• Develop practical and efficient solutions to complex procurement and subcontracts issues.
• Identify sourcing strategies and approaches to market for goods and services.
• Prepare, negotiate and execute contract documentation per delegations of authority.
• Manage subcontractor invoicing compliance and reporting.
• Participate in risk identification and mitigation planning.
• Ensure compliance with supply chain governance policies.
