Job summary

Monaco Solicitors, an Australian personal injury law firm, seeks an experienced SEO specialist to own organic search for our website. You will guide our writer and pursue impactful SEO opportunities while hands-on improving pages, fixing technical issues, building links and tracking results.

You’ll work from home 2–3 days per week with flexible hours, supporting one primary site and driving local visibility for our practice areas.

Qualifications

Several years of SEO experience in competitive markets.
Experience guiding writers and giving actionable feedback.
Proficiency with Google Search Console and GA4; familiarity with SEO tools (Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush).
Technical confidence with WordPress and plugins like AIOSEO; comfortable with HTML/CSS basics.

Responsibilities

Guide our content strategy by creating clear briefs and reviewing drafts for ranking improvements.
Research opportunities using keyword, competitor, and backlink data; decide where to act.
Perform on-page optimization across pages: titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, and E-E-A-T signals.
Handle technical SEO: crawling, indexing, redirects, structured data, speed; coordinate with developers as needed.
Build authority and local presence through quality backlinks and Google Business Profile optimization.
Monitor rankings, traffic, and AI citation usage using GA4/Google Search Console; report findings.
Set up dashboards for the team to view results; provide regular updates to leadership.
