Qualifications

Experience as a Senior Associate or VP in M&A, investment banking, or industry coverage.
Hands-on experience with live acquisition or sale processes.
Strong expertise in Excel financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis.
Experience with company research, target screening, comparable company analysis, and pitchbook preparation.
Ability to review and improve analytical and client-facing materials.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Conduct company and industry research to support financial analysis.
Perform target screening, comps analysis, and transaction analysis.
Build, review, and troubleshoot Excel-based financial models and valuation models.
Prepare and review pitchbooks and client presentation materials.
Analyze financial materials for numerical errors, valuation issues, and inconsistencies.
Explain accounting treatments, valuation adjustments, assumptions, and sensitivities.
Provide clear written and verbal explanations of complex financial concepts.
