Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a highly skilled cloud security specialist to join the JAPAC Professional Services team. You will conduct cloud security assessments, design detection logic, and automate tasks across AWS and Azure environments while collaborating with Red Team and delivery colleagues.

Ideal candidates have deep cloud security experience, Python scripting ability, and strong communication skills to engage with senior stakeholders across diverse markets.

Qualifications

• Strong depth in cloud platforms and security across years in security roles or cloud engineering/DevOps.
• Experience with AWS and Azure security controls and identity architectures.
• AWS Certified Security Specialty or similar credentials are relevant.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cloud security assessments focusing on AWS and Azure, reviewing configs and attack paths.
• Design and build detection logic for cloud control plane activity and identity threats.
• Write automation to speed up assessment work and correlate data across large datasets.
• Collaborate with Red Team during Purple Team exercises to translate gaps into recommendations.
• Turn findings into ready-to-deploy detection content with internal delivery teams.
• Produce clear reports and presentations for technical and executive audiences.
• Lead client engagements from scoping to delivery and manage stakeholder communications.
• Contribute to methodology development, tooling, and public thought leadership.
