Job summary

TOMRA Food is seeking a customer-focused Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex customer projects across Australia. The role requires coordinating people, resources, suppliers, and stakeholders to achieve project outcomes, from handover to customer acceptance, on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

This hands-on leader will work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, travel domestically up to 30%, and operate remotely from the Brisbane area.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management leading complex, customer-facing projects.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across customers, suppliers, and teams.
• Strong planning, risk, budgeting, and delivery capabilities in manufacturing or related sectors.
• PM certifications (PMP/PRINCE2) are advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own the contract between TOMRA and customers, delivering on time, quality, and cost.
• Develop project plans with resource requirements and lead a project team.
• Manage scope, variations and monitor progress with all stakeholders.
• Communicate plans and progress with customers, manage expectations.
• Monitor milestones and ensure tasks are documented throughout the lifecycle.
• Engage experts to manage compliance risks and third parties as needed.
• Proactively manage cash flow and financial goals.
• Deliver project handovers and compliance documentation.
• Conduct reviews with leaders to evaluate risk, budget, and satisfaction.
• Promote a safety-first culture across company and industry.
