Job summary

Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network's Rural Generalist Program invites a Project Officer to support education and training initiatives across South Australia, with a focus on strengthening rural medical training pathways and workforce outcomes.

You'll coordinate statewide projects, analyse data, prepare reports, and build partnerships with LHNs, universities and government agencies, while enjoying flexible work arrangements and opportunities to influence rural healthcare.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating projects, programs or initiatives with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within timeframes.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders across government, health services, universities and training providers.
• Skilled at researching, analysing and interpreting workforce, education or training data to identify opportunities for improvement and inform decisions.
• Strong communication and consultation skills, with the ability to prepare reports, briefing papers and presentations and facilitate engagement across organisations.
• Collaborative mindset to drive continuous improvement and support innovative training and workforce solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the delivery of Rural Generalist Program initiatives to strengthen rural medical training pathways and workforce outcomes.
• Coordinate complex statewide projects, training activities and stakeholder engagement processes to meet objectives and milestones.
• Analyse workforce, recruitment and training data to identify trends and inform strategic planning and improvements.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with Local Health Networks, universities, specialist colleges and government agencies.
• Prepare high-quality reports and project documentation, monitor progress, manage risks and contribute to program evaluation.
