Job summary

Flinders University of South Australia is seeking a Senior Project Officer – Education Pathways to develop and strengthen pathways into the Flinders Medical Program, focusing on Indigenous Entry Stream and Rural Entry Pathway. You will lead strategic education projects and coordinate complex program activities with academic leaders and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, with the ability to deliver outcomes within set timeframes and priorities.
• Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify improvements and develop practical solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare high-quality reports, briefs and stakeholder communications.
• Proven ability to build productive relationships and work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, including people from diverse cultural and community backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the delivery, enhancement and ongoing success of the Indigenous Entry Stream and Rural Entry Pathway programs across multiple campuses and locations.
• Manage end-to-end program operations, including participant engagement, applications, selection processes, enrolments, reporting and stakeholder communications.
• Plan and deliver strategic education projects, monitor outcomes, manage risks and provide high-level advice to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with students, academic staff, health services, community organisations and other key stakeholders to achieve sustainable program outcomes.
