Job summary

Kraken, a fully remote crypto exchange, is seeking a Data Analyst, Product to elevate decision-making by turning data into actionable product insights. You will own datasets, build dashboards, and contribute to experimentation and growth initiatives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, design scalable data models, and help deploy an AB testing system. You will code data pipelines with Airflow and Python, delivering clear storytelling to leaders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis and data management within finance or high-growth environments.
• Hands-on with dbt to model marketing, product, or performance data for reporting and decision-making.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python libraries such as pandas, matplotlib, and plotly.
• Experience building data pipelines with orchestration systems.
• Ability to create intuitive dashboards and communicate insights clearly.
• Strong communicator who can simplify complex data ideas for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Passion for investing or trading, especially crypto, with exposure to trading products.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted business advisor influencing growth decisions and understanding the business inside-out.
• Own the design of dashboards, metrics, and reports, turning data into actionable insights for the growth team and leadership.
• Dive into large, complex datasets to build scalable data models for reporting, analytics and ML.
• Lead cross-functional projects to build data pipelines using Airflow, Python, and modern ETL frameworks.
• Develop and automate KPI reporting across Kraken products at scale.
• Develop high-quality code for pipelines and dashboards with software engineering best practices.
• Deliver insights that shape growth direction through data-driven storytelling.
