La Grange Remote Community School (LGRCS) seeks a Deputy Principal – Curriculum – Primary to provide senior educational leadership, strengthen curriculum delivery, and improve student achievement within a culturally responsive framework. The role collaborates with the Principal, PLC leaders, and staff to drive teaching excellence and targeted interventions across Pre-K to Year 12.

A focus on trauma-informed practices and wellbeing underpins all initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in educational leadership and curriculum development.
• Ability to use student achievement data to inform planning and interventions.
• Knowledge of culturally responsive teaching and trauma-informed practices.

Responsabilités

• Lead educational leadership across the school to drive excellence in teaching and learning.
• Oversee curriculum implementation and PLC collaboration to build staff capacity and improve student outcomes.
• Support NAPLAN implementation and analysis to inform school priorities and targeted initiatives.
• Support trauma-informed practices and Positive Behaviour Support to ensure a safe and engaging learning environment.
