Job summary
Kimberley Regional Service Providers Pty Ltd in Broome is seeking a qualified Electrician to join the Power Generation Upgrade Program. You will support removal, refurbishment, installation, testing and commissioning of power generation assets at isolated diesel stations across the Kimberley, often in remote locations with minimal supervision.
The role requires WA Grade A Electrical Licence, a valid C Class licence and experience with generator installations, testing and fault finding, plus
Qualifications
- WA Electrical Licence (Grade A) and valid C class licence required.
- Proven experience with generator installations and power systems.
- Experience reading electrical drawings and schematics.
- Ability to work safely in remote environments and travel as needed.
Responsibilities
- Undertake generator replacement and electrical installation works across remote Kimberley communities.
- Disconnection, reconnection, testing and commissioning of generator projects.
- Assist with removal and installation of replacement diesel generators in remote power stations.
- Install cable tray, steel conduit and associated power cabling.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and operate ComAp control systems.
