Job summary

Mission Australia in Sydney, NSW is seeking a Paralegal, Leasing and Conveyancing to support housing and related services. The role focuses on end-to-end leasing and property transactions, coordinating with landlords, tenants and external counsel to progress matters.

You will manage documentation, maintain compliance, and assist with property acquisitions, disposals and renewals while contributing to governance through reporting and due diligence activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a similar paralegal/lease and conveyancing role.
• Ability to interpret legal documentation with accuracy.
• Experience coordinating leases, licenses, contracts and settlements.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proven stakeholder engagement with landlords, tenants and solicitors.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end leasing and conveyancing across the portfolio.
• Prepare, review, negotiate and finalize leases, licenses and related docs.
• Liaise with landlords, tenants, solicitors, and government agencies.
• Maintain accurate property records and ensure compliance.
• Support acquisitions, disposals, renewals and variations.
• Monitor critical dates and milestones to mitigate risk.
• Conduct property-related legal research and provide guidance.
• Coordinate settlements and due diligence activities.
