Job summary

North West Hospital and Health Service is seeking an experienced nurse leader to develop others and strengthen clinical practice across remote facilities in Normanton, Doomadgee, Mornington Island, Burketown and Karumba.

You will work closely with the Director of Nursing – Remote Facilities and the Professional Practice Support Unit to foster a culture of learning, excellence and continuous improvement while contributing to better health outcomes for remote communities.

Qualifications

• A tertiary nursing qualification is mandatory and current registration is required.
• Experience in leadership and clinical education is preferred.
• National Police Certificate is required for Aged Care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop nursing staff across remote facilities to enhance clinical capability.
• Foster a culture of learning, excellence and continuous improvement in patient care.
