Job summary

Outlier is inviting talented engineers to help shape autonomous agents like OpenClaw. This freelance, remote role offers payment up to $50 USD/hr with weekly payouts and flexible scheduling, commonly 5–10 hours per week but may exceed.

You’ll work on multi-service architectures, integrating live tools and APIs to improve agent performance. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in backend/AI automation and can contribute to production‑grade systems with careful, detailed feedback.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Experience building production-grade software with modular separation (data parsing, logic processing, reporting).
• Practical experience in live, non-mocked environments and multi-turn system interactions.
• Excellent attention to detail with ability to provide high-density technical feedback on complex system behaviors.
