Job summary

Lawlit is seeking a part-time paralegal in Victoria for 5–15 hours per week. You will assist with legal research, prepare client updates, and draft articles and newsletters while keeping clients informed of legal changes.

The ideal candidate is a law student or recent graduate with strong written and verbal communication, the ability to work independently, and experience in remote work is valued. Flexible schedule and low weekly hours are offered.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a law degree.
• Previous experience working in a law firm is highly desirable.
• Strong interest in commercial/business law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate approximately 5 hours of work per week (with low potential for additional hours).
• Experience with remote work is also viewed favourably or a willingness to consider this format of work.
• This position is suited for someone with a full study workload who is seeking to work no more than 2 days per week.
