Job summary

Mathspace Pty Ltd. is seeking a seasoned primary educator to lead the development of Australian Curriculum: Mathematics (K–6) content on a 6 to 12‑month remote contract.

You will oversee content creation workflows, review material for rigorous alignment with content descriptions and achievement standards, and provide targeted feedback to ensure world-class quality. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in Australian primary mathematics education, deep familiarity with Version 9.0, and

Qualifications

• Extensive experience teaching primary mathematics in Australian schools.
• Deep knowledge of the Australian Curriculum: Mathematics (Version 9.0) and proficiency strands.
• Familiarity with implementing Version 9.0 curriculum changes.
• Strong ability to provide clear, actionable feedback on content.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of K-6 mathematics textbook content aligned to the Australian Curriculum (Version 9.0).
• Oversee content creation workflows and coordinate with internal teams.
• Review content to ensure alignment with content descriptions, achievement standards, and mathematical proficiencies.
• Provide specific feedback to enable precise edits and maintain high quality.
• Champion the use of AI tools to maximise productivity and quality.
• Improve team processes by integrating new AI capabilities.
• Ensure consistency in pedagogical approach and year-level progression.
