Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification is essential for ongoing appointment.
• If the most suitable applicant does not hold the qualification, they may be appointed on a fixed basis with ongoing appointment subject to attaining the qualification during the fixed term.
• Travel to remote communities in light aircraft, or 4-wheel drive, for periods up to 5 days.

Responsibilities

• Supports and provides collaborative, appropriate, proficient, coordinated direct and indirect clinical care for complex client presentations, including working with and alongside less experienced nursing and midwifery staff.
• Work collaboratively with Aboriginal communities, health organisations including Aboriginal community-controlled Health Services, and early childhood personnel to deliver regional and remote hearing health care in Central Australian communities.
