Alignerr is seeking a Hospital Health Data Governance Lead to ensure AI training uses accurate, trusted clinical data. This fully remote hourly contract requires experience with hospital data ecosystems, privacy, and cross-functional collaboration.

The role emphasizes independent work across governance, policy, and data quality activities. You will define standards, assess data quality for AI pipelines, and coordinate with clinical, IT, and compliance teams to maintain compliant data handling

Qualifications

• Experienced in healthcare data governance, clinical data management, or health information operations.
• Strong working knowledge of healthcare privacy regulations and compliance frameworks - HIPAA.
• Skilled at working cross-functionally with clinical, technical, and administrative teams.
• Detail-oriented, systematic, and able to evaluate complex data environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce data governance standards for hospital health records.
• Evaluate and improve the quality of health data used in AI model training and evaluation pipelines.
• Collaborate across clinical, IT, compliance, and operational stakeholders to align data policies and workflows.
• Identify gaps in data quality, completeness, and compliance and propose remediation actions.
• Apply regulatory and privacy frameworks such as HIPAA to assess data handling practices.
• Support governed data pipelines enabling safe patient care, clinical reporting, and AI-driven decision making.
• Work independently on task-based assignments with flexible scheduling.
