Alignerr is seeking a Biotech Health Data Governance Lead (AI Training) to shape how AI interprets clinical and life sciences data. This fully remote, hourly-contract role requires bringing rigour to complex data environments without sacrificing progress.

You will lead governance of biotech research and clinical trial data, define data policies, and enable secure analytics while protecting patient information. Remote, 10–40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or implementing data governance in biotech or regulated data environments.
• Strong knowledge of privacy, security and regulatory expectations for clinical data.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and governance framework design.
• Detail-oriented with a track record of adopted governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance of biotech research and clinical trial data with auditability for analyses and regulatory submissions.
• Define data policies covering classification, access controls, security protocols, and metadata standards.
• Enable secure data access for analytics while protecting patient information.
• Partner with stakeholders to align data standards and workflows across teams.
• Identify and close gaps in data quality and traceability across the data lifecycle.
