This is your chance to bring your counselling skills to the heart of the Kimberley, supporting First Nations communities through culturally centred, trauma-informed care.

As an SEWB Counsellor, you'll provide counselling, therapeutic support, and healing activities to people impacted by grief and loss, trauma, family and relationship challenges, alcohol and other drug issues, and mental health concerns. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll help strengthen cultural identity, connection, and community wellbeing.

In this role, you will:

Deliver individual, family, and group counselling sessions

Develop care plans and provide holistic, client-centred support

Collaborate with other health and community services

Participate in community events to promote wellbeing and encourage help-seeking

Travel to surrounding communities by 4WD or light aircraft

We're looking for someone who:

Is a registered counsellor with experience in remote or First Nations health settings

Brings a culturally safe and trauma-informed approach to care

Can work independently and as part of a close-knit, supportive team

Holds a current C-class driver's licence, National Police Clearance, and Working with Children Check
