Placements24 is seeking a Research Scientist with genomics and proteomics expertise to join their fully remote R&D team. You will analyze complex biological systems using state-of-the-art technologies and integrate multi-omics data to uncover novel insights.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Genomics, Proteomics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, or related field.
• 5+ years post-doctoral or industry experience in genomics and/or proteomics research.
• Hands-on experience with relevant experimental techniques and instrumentation.
• Proficiency in data analysis software and programming languages (R, Python) for omics data.
• Strong understanding of biological pathways, disease mechanisms, and statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute experiments involving genomics and proteomics.
• Analyze and interpret large-scale genomic and proteomic datasets using bioinformatics tools.
• Integrate data from multiple omics platforms to identify pathways and biomarkers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop research hypotheses and strategies.
• Contribute to manuscript preparation, presentations, and grant proposals.
