Job summary

DeltaFM is seeking a skilled painter to perform maintenance and refurbishment across remote accommodation villages in WA. You will surface-prep, coat interiors and exteriors, and support preventative and reactive tasks.

The role requires a trade qualification (or proven experience), strong safety focus and the ability to work with multiple trades on site. FIFO from Perth to remote WA sites, with above-average rates and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or demonstrated industry experience in painting and decorating.
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, coatings and surface preparation.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-trade team.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out painting maintenance and refurbishment across accommodation villages and site facilities.
• Preparing surfaces including patching, sanding, scraping and cleaning prior to painting.
• Applying paints, coatings and finishes to interior and exterior assets to a high standard.
• Completing preventative and reactive maintenance painting tasks.
• Identifying defects and reporting maintenance requirements to supervisors.
• Maintaining painting equipment and keeping a clean, safe work area.
• Collaborating with plumbers, electricians, refrigeration technicians and other trades.
• Contributing to safe, well-maintained village environments.
