Job summary

Talent Corp is seeking a Data Quality Engineer for a six-month fixed-term contract, with potential for permanency. You will work across a complex data ecosystem to improve data quality, governance and reliability, while engaging stakeholders to influence delivery outcomes.

You will implement checks, profiling and monitoring using SQL, Python and dbt, and support data lineage and metadata governance across enterprise platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in data quality management and governance.
• Proficient with SQL and Python for profiling and automation.
• Experience with Snowflake, dbt and AWS in enterprise data pipelines.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes, data lineage and metadata management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data quality checks, validation rules and monitoring processes.
• Use SQL, Python and dbt for data profiling, analysis and automation.
• Monitor ETL/ELT pipelines and identify data quality issues.
• Investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis and support resolution.
• Establish and track data quality KPIs, controls and reporting.
• Support data lineage, metadata management and governance activities.
• Provide operational and application support across data platforms.
• Collaborate with business, engineering, governance and delivery teams.
• Contribute to Agile delivery using Jira and Confluence.
