Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Data Center Environmental Permitting Program Manager to lead environmental due diligence and permitting for site development and datacenter delivery in a remote setting.

You will own permit timelines, coordinate with legal, land development, design, and construction teams, and review assessments and consultant deliverables to identify risks. This 12-month role offers exposure to complex infrastructure and leadership-level communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 10+ years of environmental permitting and project management experience.
• Strong ability to document risks, gaps, and mitigation needs from assessments and permits.
• Excellent written and leadership-level communication of complex findings.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental due diligence and permitting acquisition for site development.
• Own the development and delivery of environmental permit timelines, identifying risks and mitigation plans.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (legal, environmental, land development, design, construction) to align permitting workstreams.
• Review environmental assessments, permit applications, and consultant deliverables to identify gaps and schedule impacts.
• Support environmental compliance readiness by evaluating requirements and reporting project status clearly.
