Job summary

Neilson Financial Services is seeking a Customer Care Agent in Sydney to deliver outstanding service for policyholders across inbound and outbound calls. You will navigate a high-volume, target-driven contact centre and play a key role in guiding customers through financial decisions.

The role offers a work-from-home option after training and probation, within a fast-growing Australian operations team, with ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role within financial services or extensive customer service experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high standards of customer correspondence.
• Life insurance industry experience is a plus, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries via phone and email.
• Resolve complaints at first contact or escalate when needed.
• Update policy details and process changes to cover; handle cancellations.
• Empathise with customers and manage objections to ease concerns.
• Maintain accurate customer records and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Follow processes for service-related matters and escalate breaches.
• Contact customers to remediate issues identified by QA.
• Meet productivity and quality targets to support team performance.
