Job summary

Department of Education WA is seeking Consultants – Public School Review to support the Directorate with research, briefing papers, and confidential reporting. You will review, edit, and prepare materials for school reviews, monitor operational trends and contribute to planning and policy development.

Roles may be fixed term or permanent, full or part time, with opportunities arising through 2026-2027. Prioritize accuracy, timeliness and compliance with PSCA guidelines.

Qualifications

Research, prepare and review briefing papers, correspondence, support documents, project budgets and confidential reports.
Editorial oversight of the final report for each school review process.
Monitor and analyse emerging operational trends and issues pertaining to school reviews.
Contribute to developing, implementing, reviewing and updating Directorate plans and procedures.

Responsibilities

Research, prepare and review briefing papers, correspondence, support documents and confidential reports for Directors.
Undertake editorial oversight of final reports for each school review.
Monitor and analyse emerging trends to support Directorate planning and reporting.
Help develop, implement and update Directorate operational plans and processes.
