Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Chemistry Subject Matter Experts to design and evaluate high-quality chemistry problems for AI training. You will craft rigorous solutions and assess AI responses across organic, biochemistry, chemical engineering, and physical chemistry topics.

Remote, hourly commitment of 10–40 hours per week. Applicants should have a Master’s or higher in Chemistry or a closely related field, with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas in writing.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemistry or related field required or in progress.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities across chemistry domains.
• Ability to explain complex scientific concepts in writing clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging, high-quality chemistry problems to test AI model performance across domains.
• Develop clear, rigorous step-by-step solutions that demonstrate expert reasoning.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy and depth of reasoning.
• Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks from undergraduate to Master’s level.
• Provide structured, actionable feedback to improve AI model quality.
