Alignerr is seeking a Chemistry Subject Matter Expert for AI training. This remote, hourly contract role involves designing advanced chemistry problems, crafting clear, step-by-step solutions, and evaluating AI outputs for scientific accuracy.

You will collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks from undergraduate to Master’s level chemistry and provide expert feedback to improve AI reasoning. The position accommodates flexible scheduling, with 10–40 hours per week, and requires a Master’s

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed Master’s in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across advanced chemistry domains.
• Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing.
• Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to evaluating reasoning and accuracy.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously.
• No prior AI experience required.
