Job summary

Kelly+Partners Griffith is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. This role offers remote work flexibility while contributing to a diverse portfolio of clients, including the thriving agriculture sector, with mentorship from a seasoned Partners group.

You'll grow professionally through monthly tax training, CA program support, and postgraduate study opportunities, while delivering high-quality financial statements and tax work for individuals, companies, trusts and SMSFs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3+ years' experience in a Chartered Accounting practice.
• Working towards, or planning to commence, the CA Program.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
• Previous experience working remotely highly advantageous.
• Solid technical accounting knowledge.
• Proactive, motivated and genuinely keen to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner.
• Take lead in the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs.
• Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts.
• Prepare and deliver annual workers compensation and payroll tax reconciliations.
• Be coached directly by an experienced Partner with an aim to manage a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients.
• Help provide an exceptional service to our clients.
• Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events.
• Offer support and training to junior team members.
