Job summary

Central Desert Regional Council is seeking an Assistant Program Manager to lead and oversee the delivery of Remote Australia Employment Services across Central Desert communities in their designated region. You will supervise community staff, perform culturally responsive case management, and coordinate training pathways to achieve employment outcomes.

Reporting to the Program Manager, you will engage with community stakeholders and support local projects to ensure services comply with funding

• Experience leading remote service delivery teams.
• Knowledge of funding guidelines and contractual obligations.
• Culturally responsive approaches to employment services.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee delivery of Remote Australia Employment Services across Central Desert communities.
• Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance and operational support to community-based staff.
• Perform culturally responsive case management, including participation activities and training pathways.
• Engage with community stakeholders and work with the Community Projects Coordinator to deliver local projects.
• Ensure services are delivered in line with funding guidelines and Council policies.
