Job summary

Central Australian Aboriginal Congress is seeking a Remote Area Nurse to deliver primary health care in Australia’s Northern Territory. You will assess patient needs, administer treatments such as wound care, and promote health initiatives while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe practices and ongoing quality improvement.

Full-time Continuous Contract

37.5 hours per week

$146,464 - $152,431 per annum

Total Effective Package*

$178,409 - $185,213

We’re looking for RANs who can build strong, trusting relationships with both patients and the community. If you have:

• Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
• Demonstrated clinical experience in a primary care or similar setting
• Commitment to integrating Aboriginal values in practice
• Hold a current Manual NT license and ability or willingness to learn to safely drive a large 4WD vehicle
• Willingness for, and understanding of, remote area work; and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and bring exceptional clinical skills, a proactive adaptable attitude, and a genuine respect for diverse patient backgrounds, we want you!
