Outlier is seeking skilled contributors to shape autonomous AI agents like OpenClaw. This freelance, remote role offers up to $50 USD/hr with weekly payments and additional incentives.

You’ll join a team training LLMs to operate as proactive agents, collaborating with leading AI orgs on multi-step workflows. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in backend engineering or AI automation, with a track record of production-grade software and live-environment experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in backend engineering, AI automation, or complex systems integration.
• Proven ability to build and maintain production-grade software with modular separation (e.g., distinct services for data parsing, logic processing, and reporting).
• Practical experience building for live, non-mocked environments and handling multi-turn system interactions.
• Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to provide clear, high-density technical feedback on complex system behaviors.
• Nice to have — experience building multi-stage coordination tasks and live tool integrations (e.g., Supabase, Gmail, APIs).
