Job summary

SA Health is seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Coder to support the Limestone Coast Local Health Network with accurate clinical coding, QA, auditing and education tasks. This fully remote role collaborates with clinicians and coding staff to improve documentation quality and data reporting.

You will mentor junior coders, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support Activity Based Funding outcomes across Australia, with flexible remote arrangements and a strong focus on

Qualifications

• Diploma of Clinical Coding (HIMAA) with ICD-10-AM proficiency and at least 3 years of clinical coding experience.
• Advanced knowledge of ICD-10-AM, ACHI, AR-DRGs, Casemix and Activity Based Funding principles.
• Experience auditing coding accuracy and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
• Strong communication skills to educate, mentor and support clinicians and staff.
• Proficiency in clinical coding systems, patient administration systems and reporting tools.
