Job summary

City Cave Balmain is seeking a skilled Remedial Therapist to join our premium wellness space in Balmain, Sydney. This part-time/casual role offers a supportive environment with modern treatment rooms and luxury facilities.

You will perform remedial and therapeutic massage, conduct thorough consultations, and help guests achieve their mobility and wellbeing goals. We provide uniforms, treatment supplies, and administration support to let you focus on delivering top-quality care.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Massage Therapy or equivalent.
• Diploma of Remedial Massage or recognised qualification desirable.
• Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance.
• ABN and Massage Association membership preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough client consultations to identify muscular tension and dysfunction.
• Develop and deliver tailored remedial treatments to client goals.
• Provide professional remedial massage with care and safety.
• Create a welcoming, safe, and relaxing guest experience.
• Build rapport and encourage client commitment to wellbeing.
• Maintain high hygiene standards and professional presentation.
• Collaborate with the wellness team within City Cave Balmain.

About the Role

As our Remedial Therapist, you’ll provide professional, client-focused treatments tailored to individual needs.

• Conduct thorough consultations and identify areas of muscular tension, discomfort and dysfunction.
• Develop and deliver treatments appropriate to each client’s needs and goals.
• Provide remedial and therapeutic massage with confidence and professionalism.
• Create a welcoming, safe and comfortable experience for every guest.
• Build rapport and encourage clients to take an active role in their wellbeing.
• Maintain excellent treatment standards, hygiene and professional presentation.
• Work collaboratively within our broader wellness environment.

Who We’re Looking For

• Certificate IV in Massage Therapy, with a Diploma of Remedial Massage or recognised Remedial Massage qualification highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience providing remedial and therapeutic treatments.
• A genuine passion for helping people feel and function at their best.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A warm, friendly and professional manner.
• The confidence to conduct consultations and tailor treatments to individual client needs.
• Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance.
• ABN and Massage Association membership preferred.
