  • Ongoing, full-time role earning $81,496 - $98,955 per year, plus super.
What You Will Do

As Remand Program Facilitator, you will coordinate and deliver programs for remand prisoners.

You will also help prisoners prepare for release and manage their transition back into the community.

You Will
  • coordinate structured programs for remand prisoners, both alone and with service providers.
  • support individual prisoners through assessments, parole applications and case review processes.
  • maintain accurate records of referrals, attendance, scheduling and program outcomes.
  • help deliver the Corrections Victoria Reintegration Pathway and connect prisoners with services before and after release.
  • work with prison staff and service providers to solve issues and improve effective program delivery.
About You

No mandatory qualification is listed for this role. Experience in program and service delivery within corrections is highly desirable.

You Should Also Have
  • program facilitation experience with individuals and groups, including psycho-educational programs.
  • corrections knowledge and an understanding of prisoner transition and reintegration needs.
  • risk assessment skills and the ability to use assessment tools with individual prisoners.
  • resilience and communication skills, with the ability to work with people who are difficult to engage.
