St Andrew's Primary School, Marayong, seeks an Assistant Religious Education Coordinator (Coordinator 1)/Classroom Teacher for an ongoing full-time role commencing Term 1, 2027. The role combines classroom teaching with a one-point leadership position supporting the Religious Education Coordinator in RE curriculum development.

Qualifications

• Hold recognised tertiary qualifications in Primary Education.
• Hold current NESA accreditation or be eligible to obtain accreditation.
• Hold Category D Accreditation to Teach Religious Education.
• Hold a valid Working with Children Check.
• Demonstrate commitment to Catholic faith, identity and mission.
• Demonstrate capacity to lead, support and empower others.
• Provide Statements of Service if required.
• Be willing to develop understanding of Encountering Jesus, CSPD curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, contemporary and inclusive classroom learning experiences.
• Support the Religious Education Coordinator in implementing Encountering Jesus, CSPD's Religious Education Curriculum.
• Assist with professional learning, faith formation and resourcing of Religious Education teachers.
• Support development and review of Religious Education programs, assessment and reporting.
• Build staff capability and share effective Religious Education practice through collaboration.
