Job summary

Catholic Education- Diocese of Cairns is seeking a Casual Relief Teacher to deliver curriculum material for classes and to provide a duty of care when the regular teacher is absent. The role supports the ethos of Catholic Education and requires QCT registration.

Salary is commensurate with experience, with hourly rates ranging from $69.15 to $99.59 plus 12.75% super. Casual employment offers professional development and ongoing school community engagement.

About The Role

The main responsibility of a Relief Teacher is to deliver the curriculum material provided for the class, and to provide a duty of care to students in the absence of the regular teacher. This is fulfilled in a manner which is consistent with the mission, vision, values and expectations of the School. Teachers are accountable to and under the direction of the school Principal or delegate.
