About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on, solutions-focused Electrician to join our Maintenance team as a Reliability Electrical Technician. If you enjoy working with automation, solving problems, and keeping things running smoothly, this role is for you.

You’ll be part of a tight-knit crew that keeps our packaging lines humming—troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving electrical systems across the site.

This is a full-time, permanent role with shift work, including one Saturday per month.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Diagnosing and fixing electrical faults across the plant
  • Supporting production teams with day-to-day electrical maintenance
  • Getting involved in commissioning new equipment and upgrades
  • Working on automation systems and PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens)
  • Keeping records up to date in our CMMS system
  • Collaborating with mechanical techs to solve problems fast
  • Contributing to safety, continuous improvement, and team culture

What We're Looking For
  • Unrestricted SA Electrical Licence
  • C Class Driver’s Licence
  • High level of literacy and numeracy (Year 11/ 12)
  • Solid experience in manufacturing or FMCG environments
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Comfortable with computers and maintenance systems
  • A proactive, team-first attitude

Bonus Points For:

  • PLC I & II training
  • Allen Bradley / Siemens S7 experience
  • AutoCAD skills
  • EWP or Forklift licence (or willingness to get one)
  • Experience with TPM / 5S
