Job summary

BAH Partners Limited is hiring a Senior Trading Infrastructure Engineer in Sydney to own and improve the live trading infrastructure. You will work with software developers and production engineers to boost reliability and efficiency of global trading operations.

The role emphasizes CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and security hardening across Windows and Linux environments, with occasional early-morning and out-of-hours support rotations. This is a permanent position based in Sydney.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, SRE or Production Engineering.
• Practical scripting skills and a track record of automating operational processes.
• Good knowledge of Windows and/or Linux.
• Experience with CI/CD, deployment orchestration and version control; Gitlab and Octopus Deploy are relevant.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across systems, applications and networking.
• Messaging systems, TCP/IP, multicast and cloud experience would be advantageous.
• Clear communication and the ability to work closely with technical and business teams.
• Willingness to participate in early-morning and out-of-hours support rotations.

BAH Partners is partnering with a leading global quantitative trading firm to hire a Senior Trading Infrastructure Engineer in Sydney.

Working closely with Software Developers and Production Engineers, you will improve the infrastructure supporting live trading systems. The role combines production ownership with engineering projects across automation, deployment and system resilience.
