Job description

Overview

We’re on the lookout for a Reliability Engineer to join our growing Maintenance & Reliability team at our yoghurt manufacturing site in Dandenong South. This is a brand-new role, so you’ll have the chance to shape how we think about reliability from the ground up. You’ll be digging into equipment performance, helping us get smarter with preventive and predictive maintenance, and driving projects that keep our plant running at its best.

A typical day could see you out on the floor working alongside fitters to understand recurring breakdowns, back at your desk analysing trends in MEX, and then challenging whether our current maintenance schedules are right for the long-term health of our assets. You’ll be part of daily production and maintenance meetings, dive into root cause analysis after failures, and help set up the metrics and frameworks we need to make reliability a real strength of the site.

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years’ experience in a reliability role in a manufacturing environment (food, FMCG or Pharma)
• Hands-on experience with CMMS systems e.g. MEX and familiarity with tools like RCA, FMEA, predictive techniques
• Curious, analytical, and not afraid to ask “why do we do it this way?” – and then back it up with data
• A practical problem-solver who’s just as comfortable on the factory floor as they are reporting KPIs to leadership
• Strong communication and influencing skills to work with a variety of teams and people every day
• An engineering degree – mechanical, electrical, industrial or similar
